Senhorita
is more comun in brazilian portuguese. I think that you should put in the place of
senhorita
,
menina
(younger).
For example, you want a juice and you go to a cafe. You've a lady asking the employee for a juice too and he call her
senhora
- O que é que a senhora deseja?
- Um sumo de laranja, por favor.
You ask for a juice next, and the employee says:
- E a menina? O que deseja?
- ...
Hope that you understood
I just don't undestand the text, because it refers just to a person
